The ASUS Oxiis E250G1 mounts directly to a bicycle's seatpost, using a motorized friction roller that presses against the rear tire to add electric pedal assistance without modifying the existing drivetrain. The tool-free attachment fits most city, road, gravel, folding and hardtail mountain bikes with wheel sizes from 16 inches to 700C, excluding full-suspension frames and carbon fiber seatposts. Adaptive Boost Technology automatically adjusts motor output for hills and headwinds, while Eco, Normal and Sport riding modes can be selected through onboard controls or the companion mobile app for Android and iOS.
The 3.7 kg unit produces 250 W of continuous power with a 500 W peak output and reaches assisted speeds of up to 32 km/h. A removable 158.4 Wh, 36 V battery recharges in two hours through a 100 W USB-C PD connection, delivering up to 50 km of range in Eco mode or approximately 10 km in Sport mode.
