The dairy-free movement is gaining traction and brands are launching a variety of milk alternatives — one noteworthy example is BetterBody Foods who recently launched 'Oatsome' Organic Oat Milk. The milk is said to be "sweet, creamy, [and] slightly oat-flavored." It is ideal for consumers who are vegan or have dietary restrictions such as lactose intolerance or allergies.
In addition, the organic oat milk is also sustainable. On one hand, it does not require cows to produce it and on the other hand, it is much more environmentally conscious than almond milk which "requires over six times as much water to grow than oats." Oatsome does not contain any added sugars, artificial ingredients or nuts either. Its taste and texture make it an ideal substitute and one can enjoy numerous creations with it as the liquid "froths, steams and bakes like cow's milk."
