Though Trader Joe's already sells a lot of dates and date-infused products, the majority of these feature the Medjool variety. However, there are many other types of dates available. For its latest foray into the wild world of dates, Trader Joe's has chosen Deglet Noor Dates. These dates are slightly less sweet than the Medjool variety, and just a bit more firm. Best of all, the new Organic Dried & Pitted Deglet Noor Dates are organically grown in California and pitted in advance, so you can add these dates to a variety of snacks without worrying about crunching down on a pesky pit.
