The 'Green Mountain' Coffee Pods are Organic and Certified Fair Trade

'Keurig Green Mountain' launched a new line of organic coffee pods that are also certificated fair trade. While there are a number of companies producing organic coffee, there are few that also focus on fair trade sourcing. This double-certified line allows consumers to purchase single-use coffee pods that are good for humans and the environment.

The new Keurig Green Mountain’s double-certified coffees come in boxes of 10 or 16 pods. The coffee contained in the capsules is completely organic and comes in four distinct blends. Aside from the commitment to sourcing organic coffee beans, all of the ingredients contained in the pods are purchased from certified farms at fair trade prices and premiums. The sustainable practice ensures that farmers around the world are able to sell their beans at competitive prices.
