Trader Joe's new Organic Apricot Preserves is a surprisingly versatile product made from a blend of organic apricots and organic cane sugar. The result is a chunky spread that captures the sweetness and a delicately tart flavor of this start stonefruit. And while the Organic Apricot Preserves lends itself well to a wide variety of sweet applications, like toast or pancakes, it's also a great addition to savory dishes as well. As Trader Joe's explains, "We’re particularly fond of them as an accompaniment to a cheese board... And when mixed with a bit of brown sugar, mustard, and orange liqueur, it makes an easy glaze for pork, poultry, and salmon."
