This One-Piece Bottle Opener is a Removed Steel Part of a Stool
References: quartertwenty & quartertwenty
Made of nothing but steel, this one-piece bottle opener is minimalistic and masculine in design. This piece, called the Knucklehead, is also an eco-friendly design. It is actually a metal part of a stool, tweaked a bit to give the piece another function.
Most bottle openers consist of many different materials and are more detailed in design, but Portland-based company Quartertwenty believes the Knucklehead does the job just fine -- using only one piece of steel. Bent at the head, the bottle opener does not require curvy grooves. The straight-cut appeal is simple and rustic. Quartertwenty is a company that also creates furniture, so it is great that scrap parts from production (that would normally be discarded) are revamped into stylish items.
