Boxy Metal Furniture

Maxim Maximov's One Line Collection Looks Like Opened Cardboard Boxes

I love the clean and contemporary look of the One Line furniture collection. As though inspired by the shape of the cardboard box (even down to the flaps that are usually taped closed), the design of this collection was actually inspired by the desire to create pieces of furniture from one continuous line, which was achieved by shaping a metal sheet through curving and bending.

Created by Maxim Maximov, a Russian a furniture designer, the One Line furniture collection is so impressive, it recently won first place in a recent Russian design competition whose judges included Ross Lovegrove, Vadim Kibardin and Oscar Zieta, according to Design Milk.

Conceived with public spaces in mind, the One Line collection provides minimalist, modern decor.
