The Onda Hotline campaign is the tequila seltzer brand's mission to transform tailgating into 'Tequilagating.' Onda launched its campaign ahead of Thanksgiving weekend on November 27th, 2021. The brand aimed to offer drinkers an alternative to beer and malt-based hard seltzers throughout the football tailgating season.

Onda Tequila Seltzers are made with Blanco tequila from a woman-owned distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. By texting the Onda Hotline at 1-8722-ONDA4U, the first 100 users received a complimentary Onda Variety Pack for their 'Tequilagating' endeavors. The complimentary and instant tailgate upgrade compensated the lucky texters directly to their Venmo accounts. The text line offered a variety of Onda flavors, including Grapefruit, Lime, Watermelon, and Blood Orange, as well as Passion Fruit, Mango, and Pineapple.
