Omnidirectional Wireless Chargers

This Wireless Charging Technology Can Handle Multiple Devices

Researchers at the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) have developed an omnidirectional wireless charging technology that is capable of charging multiple devices at once. Amazingly, the technology can charge devices from a distance and at peak efficiency regardless of the devices' physical orientation.

Wireless charging, also known as inductive charging, is becoming increasingly popular even though the technology is still new and comes with certain restrictions and glitches.

However, the KAIST researchers' work appears to suggest that this omnidirectional wireless charging technology is capable of powering either 30 smartphones or up to five laptops simultaneously. Importantly, the device does so safely and meets safety levels set by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection.

Omnidirectional Wireless Charging
With this technology, devices can be charged safely and efficiently regardless of orientation or distance, opening up opportunities for wireless charging in a variety of settings.
Multi-device Wireless Charging
The ability to charge multiple devices at once with peak efficiency can revolutionize settings like offices and public spaces by eliminating the hassle and clutter of multiple charging cords.
Safe Wireless Charging
The technology's ability to meet safety levels set by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection offers new opportunities for wireless charging without concerns about harmful radiation exposure.
