Omar Apollo, a Mexican-American singer-songwriter, has launched a new hot sauce inspired by a recipe that his Mexican family has passed down for generations. Dubbed Disha Hot, this fresh sauce speaks to the intergenerational traditions of Mexican-American families.
Disha Hot is made using a bend of toasted chile de árbol, cilantro, lime, habanero, and tomatoes. The product is a blend between a hot sauce and salsa and pairs well with eggs, toast, chicken, and rice. The sauce is made without any preservatives, which allows for an authentic and uninterrupted flavor palette.
Disha Hot is available in the US and can be purchased via the brand's website. However, due to limited supply and to prevent third-party reselling, customers are limited to purchasing one bottle of Disha Hot.
