The Old Spice Nature Adventure is in line with the brand's previous campaigns. Partly ridiculous and entirely entertaining, it is inspired by last year's Internet phenomenon "Twitch Plays Pokémon," in which over 6.5 million people played the game or watched the live-stream. The Old Spice Nature Adventure is similar in that it allows viewers to control a human being for three days as he ventures through a forest.
In true Old Spice form, the campaign is prefaced with a hilarious video filled with strange animals and laser beams. Since Twitch TV boasts an audience of over 50 million, it's only natural it would attract brands for similar campaigns. It also offers consumers a different type of interaction with the brand that is incredibly memorable and fun.
