Oki Sato Designs a Stunning Coffee Table for Arketipo That Has a Usuable Dent

Dent is a new contemporary table designed by Oki Sato for design association Arketipo. Oki Sato was born in Toronto, however he got his expertise and training in Tokyo. His contemporary coffee table is both practical and marvelous.

When Oki Sato was designing Dent he thought of how people use coffee tables and how things are placed on them. For the low table, Sato installed a literal dent on one side that provides a natural resting height for books, remotes and other objects. There is even a place in the middle that can handle a vase or other centerpieces. The idea for dent was for comfort, it was to act as a pocket in one's trousers.

Oki Sato packages his dent idea in a very sleek and minimalist way, making it perfect for any modern-living space.
