The Ocean Film Festival 2010 was able to get footage of a killer whale attacking a great white shark. This is a battle of epic proportions, similar to Godzilla in a mêlée with King Kong. Two of the greatest oceanic predators come face to face and it’s on camera!
The documentary ‘The Whale that Ate Jaws’ was amazingly able to depict an encounter with killer whale protecting its pod (which happened to have a new calf) when a great white shark gets too close for comfort. The documentary shows it as it happens in the waters off San Francisco, California. There’s one scuffle that I wouldn’t want to miss.
