Objective Zero is opening a dialogue between veterans suffering from post traumatic stress and brain injuries.
The battle for veterans is often on-going as limited health care and lack of access to resources allow for physical brain injuries, and emotional scars to fester. The non-profit app, which is currently under development, will anonymously connect those in need with professionally trained veterans, who have experience in suicide prevention and de-escalation.
The older demographic of this typically vulnerable community are often unaware of the digital resources that can aid in one's recovery. The main concept behind Objective Zero is to connect retired soldiers on an expansive platform to help them cope with symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health issues.
