Suddenly swiping your snakeskin takes another meaning. AmEx Centurion started the rush to ostentatious credit cards, and now the latest entry is Roberto Cavalli's snakeskin-finish credit card.

Rather than the platinum of the “other” cards, the snake hide card is made of authentic snake. But of course, it has other things attached, like special invitations to Cavalli shows and fashion sales where the card will be most welcome.

Implications - Consumers today will go to great lengths to express particular qualities or characteristics about themselves to others. Businesses that provide these individuals with unique or unusual methods to showcase their individuality will see large returns in today's market.
