As part of its omni-channel approach to retail, the popular ecommerce beauty platform 'Nykaa' plans on opening 30 stores across India. With a wide variety of brands and products to choose from, the new store will serve as a beauty mecca for those who like to see products in person before they buy.
Nykaa's plan to make the leap to brick-and-mortar is already underway, with one operation open at the Infiniti Mall in Mumbai. The store carries more than 450 different beauty brands, including both Indian and international brands. The store also carries the brand's private labels Nail Enamel and Bath & Body. To complete the shopping experience, the physical shops will offer exclusive offline services such as consultations and beauty tutorials.
Described as "a logical extension" of the brand's omni-channel approach, the new Nykaa stores will give consumers a way to physically see and test out the product they are interested in.
