Mediterra Nutrition Bars, a recent release from New York City-based Mediterra Inc., will soon be sold in over 350 Target locations, along with several health food retailers.
The savory snack bars have been met with an overwhelmingly positive response from consumers, a response which Mediterra founder Telemaque Lavidas describes as "unprecedented." Along with the great taste, the nutrition bars also feature a packaging design that emphasizes their healthful ingredients.
The ingredients and flavors in the six-bar range are featured prominently on the labels. These are flavors such as Sun-dried Tomato and Basil, Apricot and Almonds and Black Olives and Walnuts. The savory flavors are a departure from the typically fruity fare found in nutrition bars -- which might be why they've been met with with such a strong response in the first place.
