Credit Union-Supported Book Drives

North Island Credit Union Runs Its Annual Book Drive

North Island Credit Union has launched its annual book drive for the month of August, now in its fifth year. This venture is made possible through the organization's partnership with ABC 10News. The goal is to support the 'Storytime' childhood literacy campaign, which aims to place new books into the hands of elementary school students throughout San Diego County, particularly those attending Title 1 schools where access to reading materials at home may be limited.

North Island Credit Union invites community members to donate new, age-appropriate books for kindergarten through elementary-aged children at any of the organization's branch locations across San Diego County, or alternatively, they can make monetary contributions through the organization's website, which will be used to purchase additional books for distribution.
