The Guinness Open Gate Brewery Non-Alcoholic Lager has been unveiled by the brewery as a new premium alcohol-free option for beer fans to enjoy. Set to launch in March in Ireland, the beer is focused on offering a great taste that is suitable for anyone who enjoys the crisp taste of lagers rather than just those who are looking for a non-alcoholic drink option.

The Guinness Open Gate Brewery Non-Alcoholic Lager acknowledges the growing number of consumers who are looking for refreshing alcohol-free drink options to enjoy at home or social gatherings. Explaining the new beer, Lead Brewer at the Open Gate Brewery, John Casey, said, "From the start, we were determined to brew a non-alcoholic beer with the same process we’ve perfected over the last 259 years. It has taken two years of experimentation, but we’ve come up with a way to fully brew beer using a special yeast strain that only produces a very limited amount of alcohol."
