The Nikon PowerZoom is All Lens and Designed for Casual Photogs

Kevin Hoffman has designed the Nikon PowerZoom to help camera companies, Nikon specifically, maintain dominance in the photography scene. Now when it comes to professional photographs, nothing beats a real camera. That being said, more and more casual photographers are opting for smartphones over cameras. The Nikon PowerZoom is designed to target these photogs. The PowerZoom is essentially a giant lens attached to a display unit. Its display unit features an LED trackpad and fold-out screen.

The Nikon PowerZoom lets you seamlessly switch out your lenses and go from shooting in portrait to landscape with the flick (it's actually more of a slide) of a switch. The ergonomic design and ease of use should appeal to casual photographers, although the lens attachments would have to be priced right.
