The Nike Swoosh Logo Was Colored Gold to Commemorate the Rio Games

Being an iconic inclusion on all of its sneakers, the Nike Swoosh logo was adapted to appear in an eye-catching metallic gold on three new models as a means to pay tribute to the American athletes who took part in the 2016 Summer games which have just come to an end.

Although the sneakers vary greatly in colorway, each has a masculine aesthetic which allows the Nike Swoosh logo to take over much of the upper, however the 'Kyrie 2' is exempted from this as it displays it on the back of the sole instead. This model is covered with a 'University Red' as well, which makes it standout especially.

In addition to the Kyrie 2 is the 'KD 9' and the 'LeBron Soldier 10,' with the former making use of a red, black and blue colorway which is accented by a large gold Nike Swoosh logo. The LeBron Soldier 10 on the other hand is completely white, apart from the iconic check mark that shown in reverse in a shiny gold and few speckles of the same color on the upper to accent it.
