Ahead of the annual Nike Air Max Day, a playful light installation has taken over Paris' Saint-Martin station in order to kickstart the celebrations. The unique installation features enormous replications of the bubble-like air cushions that have come to be an image synonymous with Air Max.
The Nike Air Max Day subway installation follows a special release from the reigning sneaker brand that included that details some of the masterful Air Max designs of the past. The amplified hype around this year's Air Max Day is likely tied to the brand's announcement of a new design to enter the Air Max Family by Tinker Hatfield.
As 2017 will mark 30 years of the Air Max sneaker, there are sure to be more brand-building Air Max innovations to come in the near future.
