Bohemian Grunge Collections

The Nicole Miller Pre-Fall 2014 Collection Mixes Two Distinct Styles

The Nicole Miller Pre-Fall 2014 collection is aptly titled “Boho-Chic” and was inspired by the title ‘Native Funk & Flash’ from 1974. Although the looks reference the past, the collection is quite fresh and current.

The looks go back to popular styles from the 90s like slipdresses and plaids that are paired with clashing florals, long Bohemian skirts and fringed hems. Although bohemian looks are usually quite earthy, Nicole Miller’s collection has just the right amount of sparkle and embellishments to add some lustre to the collection.

The looks are paired with tall boots and long chain necklaces and even though the mix of styles is an eclectic one and they don't seem like they should work together, the bohemian-grunge components make a great team.
