This new Google Maps update is proving the brand's dedication to consumer convenience, as the mapping service will now inform bus riders when they're approaching their stop.
Between crowds and muffled speaker systems, it can be hard for an individual to realize when they should be exiting the vehicle, especially if they're in an unfamiliar area, and can't rely on visual cues. With the new update, Google Maps will guide users through each start of their journey, ensuring a confusion-free arrival.
The new feature functions in real-time, meaning users will receive updates on their journey, as conveniently quickly as possible. In order to take advantage of the feature, users enter their final destination into the search bar.
