Deliberately Washed Out Editorials

The Marie Claire Italia Neutral Mood Photoshoot is Faded

The Marie Claire Italia Neutral Mood editorial has been deliberately faded by photographer Arnaud Pyvka. Pyvka made model Sojourner Morrell appear as if from a decade past in these images, a theme that was further channeled by stylist Elisabetta Massari.

Massari dressed Pyvka in printed cut out dresses, matching two piece vest suits and suspenders. The upscale ensembles, appropriate for chic events and nights spent out, were nonetheless displayed before sand, water and large green fronds.

Hair expert Roberto Pagnini contributed to this natural theme with loosely flowing waves, paired here with make up artist Kathy le Sant's minimal use of cosmetics. These earthy elements will be displayed to readers of Marie Claire's March 2013 issue.
