Virtual Reality Movie Selections

'Oculix' Will Allow Users to Virtually Browse Movies on Netflix

At the occasion of the Netfix Summer Hack day, hackers Ian McKay, Steve McGuire, Rachel Nordman, Kris Range, Alex Bustin et M. Frank Emanuel, purposed an awesome interface to browse Netfix movies known as Oculix. Thanks to the Oculus Rift technology, it’s now possible to literally navigate endlessly between the videos. It works easily with a simple hand movement.

This interface brings a perfect fluidity to the user, opening the door to a virtual reality experience. Oculix is moving a step forward the notion of entertainment. You don't just sit and watch a movie, you now experiment the choice of it before. It probably means losing your mind to take a look around, but the most important is that this innovation represents a new immersive way to find what you want to watch.
