Well known for their sexy and creative coffee maker designs Nespresso gives us a peek at the future of coffee designs with the announcement of the winners of their second Nespresso Design Contest at an awards ceremony in Milan.
The four winning designs are:
First place: â€Untitled" by Brice Genre and Hanika Perez of the UniversitÃ© Toulouse Le Mirail in France. The design resembles "a thermosensitive work of art that gradually changes appearance thanks to the heat of the water."
Second place: "Pearl" by Andreas Diefenbach from Staatliche Akademie Der Bildenden KÃ¼nste in Germany. It is a round luxurious coffee-maker.
Third place: "Enjoy It While Flying" by Millete Balazs and Telekes Tamas from MOME - Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Hungary, with their in-flight coffee machine.
Finally, a Special mention was awarded to "SOPRANO" by Francois Saudubray from EID in France.
