Designer Nebil Zaman Unveils a New Series of Plaster Furniture

Kurdish and Norweigian designer Nebil Zaman introduces his new works that come in the form of furniture. He has a background as an art director in advertising before branching out to furniture design and woodworking. The new range of furniture is full of cut plaster cast MDF shapes that highlight the raw materials and textures.

The exterior is made from plaster, which creates a liberated look and the armatures are digitally created for a precise look. Together, it balances out the design by fusing handcrafted design with technology. The new capsule is made specifically for Side Gallery to continue his previous plasterwork. To create the designs, he digitally draws out the 3D models before cutting out the pieces.
