Designer Neal Schwartz really brings the notion of sacred creation to his design practice. The professional recently showcased his work in his California studio which acts as an extension of his single-story home in Sonoma. Neal Schwartz enlisted his studio Scwarts and Architecture to assist in the project.
The interior of the space has been described as "chapel-like," evoking ethereal qualities, and the designer has named the project Mourning Dovecote. Dovecote is a structure designed for housing pigeons or doves and apparently, there are many of them in the Sonoma countryside as the architect has noted that the project is "an ode" to these structures. Neal Schwartz and his firm were quite serious about this and so the extension includes twelve nesting boxes built into the studio's facade.
