This Chain is Celebrating National Pizza Month with Authentic Mexican Flavors

In honor of National Pizza Month, California Pizza Kitchen is bringing back its popular Carne Asada Pizza. With the growing demand for hybrid dishes that combine popular ingredients from all over the world, this Mexican-style pizza is the perfect culinary mashup.

For the entire month of October, California Pizza Kitchen customers will be able to order a freshly updated version of the chain's original Carne Asada Pizza. The pizza is made with authentic Mexican ingredients such as marinated steak, fire-roasted poblanos and tangy cilantro pesto. It is also served with a side of housemade salsa verde for extra flavor.

To continue the National Pizza Month celebrations, the chain is also launching a nation-wide Hidden Pizza Dough Scavenger Hunt, which gives fans the chance to win free pizza for an entire year.
