Nathalie Emiebach's work looks like a scientist had a little too much fun with those old-school tinker toys we all played with at one point in our childhood. According to Cool Hunting, "Drawing on data sets -- like the distance between sun and earth or moon phases -- that she collects herself, [Nathalie] Emiebach uses the information to dictate the dimensions, shapes and position of her reed weavings."
Absolutely stunning. I guess I was right in thinking that Nathalie Emiebach's unique sculptures had some kind of connection with science.
