Fashion brand 'Coach' has released a unisex, NASA themed collection.

Available now, the collection is inspired by the optimism of the 1960's space race. With fun, space-themed graphics, the collection is nostalgic and retro while maintaining a modern aesthetic. The collection includes soft-looking t-shirts, military jackets and knit sweaters. In addition to the unisex ready-to-wear, the collection includes handbags in fun colors, with rounded edges and graphic patches.

Many retailers are releasing collections with graphic patches and cheeky details. For example, Prada's Cruise 2018 collection included emoji-inspired crystal details. Fun details like these prove the fashion industry is moving away from ultra basic, Normcore designs and towards more fun-loving, expressive styles. This compounded with the divisive nature of today's society can be appealing.
