The mydlink Home smart home eco system marks D-Link's entry into the connected smart home products market. This range of products includes five modules that allow homeowners to control technology around their home using a smartphone or tablet, whether they're lounging about at home or galavanting around the world.
The mydlink module includes the Home Monitor HD, a a camera with wireless connectivity and night-vision. The Home Monitor 360 meanwhile comes with a pan and tilt camera and the ability to monitor large areas while reducing blind spots. It also has an integrated microphone. The Home Smart Plug allows users to turn appliances on and off remotely and schedule automatic activation and deactivation. Finally, the Home Wi-Fi Motion Sensor can detect movement within eight meters.
The range will go on sale in Europe on October 7.
