Snapchat is Expanding its My AI Service to All of its Users

Snapchat's 'My AI' is its AI personality that is powered by ChatGPT and now it is beginning to roll out to all users on the app. The new and updated iteration of the chatbot was only available to Snapchat+ users previously and now it broadens out globally, as announced by Snap CEO Evan Spegal during the Partner Summit Event.

This new expansion highlights some new specific features of the app. It provides users with recommendations for restaurants and other activities based on what is popular socially on the Snap Map feature. It also suggests augmented reality lenses and allows users to add the AI to group chats, setting up a custom name and avatar for the AI persona.
