This adorably mummy cake called 'Ramen Noodle Ramses' was made as part of a Threadcakes contest. Baked by Jessica Allard, the cake was inspired by a t-shirt design. It looks even cuter and far more tasty in its remixed version.
Ramen Noodle Ramses is all wrapped up in noodles as he walks out from a bowl as if it were his coffin. Two chopsticks lay at the side, untouched and whoever was planning on eating that bowl of noodles will sure be in for a surprise. Ramses leaves a messy trail behind him and his blank expression really adds to the mummified representation.
Bakers are getting more and more creative and these disguised cakes really come as a pleasant surprise. The mummy cake is so adorable and meticulous it would be tragic to see it eaten and turned to vanilla mush.
