Muller Van Severen and KASSL Editions Unveil a Soft 'Pillow' Sofa

KASSL Editions taps Muller Van Severen for a new chair design in a vivid sky-blue colorway. The chair, released by RiRa objects, boasts the same shape and style as the previous iterations and includes KASSL’s signature oil fabric. Muller Van Severen created the first ‘Pillow Sofa’ as a modular system. The first version was created for a project sponsored by Wallpaper* magazine. However, the final version was eventually put into production.
“Simple in its execution, the sofa is made of three pillows that attach to each other, forming an archetypal seat and back structure. The cushions are held together by integral bands and feature a playful color palette,” said Muller Van Severen.
75 of the RiRa special edition Pillow Sofas will be available for purchase, each going for €4,500 (about $4,895 USD).
