French company Marmelapp, which has a number of apps in its repertoire, has launched its latest and greatest offering in the form of Snax, an innovative movie-making app that uses interactive features and a gamification approach to allow users to play a role in how stories unfold.

The app allows users to immerse themselves in a particular plot, at which point they can go about making their own decisions about how to respond to certain situations in the story, where to move to and how to solve puzzles and resolve tasks that come up over the course of the plot.

Available for free download on the Apple App Store, this interactive movie-making app also offers a range of premium features for a subscription fee. Designed to be played right on your smartphone, this app is looking to make interactive gameplay a fixture of your mobile screen.
