Shopping carts were pretty much the coolest way to have fun back in high school, especially after watching a couple episodes of Jackass. MIT student Charles Guan has carried on his love of all things cart and has built a motorized shopping cart.
Dubbed the ‘LOLriocart,” this motorized shopping cart has a rear wheel drive train and has a top speed of 30 MPH, which is insanely fast for being in a flimsy-framed vehicle with no top. It was built with a custom steering shaft and has an emergency break which cuts the power.
If I had a motorized shopping cart like this, I might just have to start going grocery shopping everyday.
