Segway Revealed Its Electric Motorcycle Concept
Daniel Johnson — January 7, 2020 — Autos
Segway recently unveiled the APEX, which is a new electric motorcycle concept that it produced alongside one of its subsidiaries, Ninebot. Currently, the APEX is only a concept and there are no plans to mass-produce the model.
The APEX is able to accelerate to speeds of 60 MPH within 2.9 seconds, and it has a max speed of 125 MPH. A video of the concept motorcycle was released, which shows that it does not have a gear shifter. This indicates that the APEX is a single speed-transmission vehicle.
Segway's electric motorcycle concept also signifies a new direction for the organization. The company is creating an Intelligent Mobility product line, which already features the Ninebot eMoped and the Ninebot eScooter.
