Many motels have a reputation for being seedy and they can hardly seem to hold a candle to some of the nice hotels out there—but with this motel ad campaign, Brazil's Turquesa Motel sought to smash the negative image of motels.

Turquesa Motel took to Tinder and created a profile, where users of the dating app were encouraged to send their best pickup lines in exchange for discount vouchers. In addition to being attention-grabbing, once a user indicates that Turquesa Motel is a match, it gives brand an opportunity to chat with travelers in-app. In just about a week, this Tinder campaign was successful at reaching over 8,500 users, in which 500 chats were initiated with prospective guests at zero cost.
