I love the duality photographer Mónica Barreneche explores in this editorial for Summus Magazine. The shoot features two models who either mirror each other's looks and poses or counteract them.
In the first image, for example, Mónica Barreneche's models wear the same outfits, rock the same poses and even share full-face blue makeup. As the Summus Magazine shoot progresses, however, the models stop working in sync and oppose or counteract each other's poses.
Implications - With so many products on the market, companies would be wise to present advertising tactics that require a second glance. Using twins or optical illusions are two efficient methods for forcing onlookers to think twice about what they are seeing, and remember the product for later purchase.
