Modular Household Power Stations

Jackery HomePower 1000 Plus V2 Delivers a Portable Backup Station

Jackery’s HomePower 1000 Plus V2 is a portable power station featuring modular expandability that can scale from a 1,024Wh base unit to nearly 11kWh with 2kWh expansion batteries. The system is built around LiFePO4 cells and includes a 10-millisecond UPS function, positioning it as a bridge between camping gear and household backup equipment.

The base unit delivers 1,024Wh of capacity, 1,800W of continuous AC output and a 3,600W surge across four pure sine-wave outlets. It supports fast AC charging, solar and alternator inputs, app-based energy prioritization, and multiple fast-charging ports, including 140W and 30W USB-C Power Delivery, an 18W USB-A output and a 12V/10A vehicle-style socket. The unit weighs 23.8 pounds and comes in black or white with a $749 MSRP and a five-year warranty.

For consumers, the portable weight and scalable architecture let owners start with manageable backup power and add capacity as their needs grow. High-output USB-C, pure sine-wave AC and surge protection mean it can run sensitive electronics and many household appliances, while the modular model helps buyers avoid overcommitting to one-size-fits-all backup solutions.
