Fan-Built Football Beers

BrewDog Brews a 4.5% Oat Lager With West Ham United Supporters

BrewDog created 'Boleyn Brew' with West Ham United supporters, turning fan workshops into a beer built for matchday drinking. The club collaboration is a 4.5% ABV oat lager, offering supporters an easygoing option shaped by their input on taste, naming and can design.

Boleyn Brew carries citrus over a bready lager base, keeping it approachable during a match rather than reading like a heavier specialty pour. Its name came from a supporter vote and nods to the former Boleyn Ground, while cans featuring the Boleyn Gates debuted at London Stadium against Southampton and are also sold through BrewDog's website.

Supporter input on the name, flavor and packaging turns a club-branded beer into co-created merchandise, not just another licensed drink. Limited-edition cans on BrewDog's website extend the idea beyond the stadium and give the partnership a direct-to-consumer layer tied to club loyalty.
