Torrid is Launching the Casting Call for the Year 2025

Torrid, a prominent apparel retailer specializing in plus-size fashion for women, has announced the continuation of its annual model search initiative — the Casting Call — for the year 2025.

This program is structured as a multi-phase competition that begins with an open application process. At this stage, applicants must send in a photo and a video. Thirty finalists will be selected, and then a public vote will narrow down this group to fifteen individuals who are invited to a professional development bootcamp in Los Angeles. Following this experience, Torrid will announce a single grand prize winner. The rewards for the Casting Call winner include a substantial monetary component, a large clothing allowance, and a central role in the company's future advertising campaigns.

The model search initiative is supported by a complementary in-person event in Los Angeles designed to facilitate applications and includes strategic use of digital platforms, social media, and collaborations with influencers to maximize engagement.
