For under $6, people are able to get a nutritious and organic smoothie in a minute, all thanks to the fact that the mobile restaurant is powered by automated, self-cleaning electric blenders and robotic systems. The systems that Ono Food Co. have in place are useful for monitoring ingredients, temperature and reducing waste—so much so that it uses 28 times less water than traditional smoothie operators.

To order from the food truck, customers place a custom order via the ordering kiosk or alternatively, may order in advance—and when they are within a 300-foot radius, only then will the robotic system begin preparing the blend to ensure peak freshness.
