This MM6 Maison Margiela Collection Is Inspired by London's Techno Dens

MM6 Maison Margiela has been touched by the creative -- and legendary -- hands of John Galliano. This is the designer's first collection for the Maison Margiela subsidiary brand and it is targeted at club kids.

For the Spring/Summer 2016 season, MM6 Maison Margiela is offering a line of glittered, deconstructed and wild looks. Designed for both men and women, this collection appeals to gender-neutral club kids. Glitter is adorned on all kinds of garments from retro tie-front bandeaux to thigh-high socks. A pussybow blouse is seen with an enlarged bow and elongated sleeves while an off-the-shoulder ruffle top also displays magnified detail. Every look is complemented with platform footwear -- from metallic sandals to edgy brogues.

It is clear that MM6 Maison Margiela knows couture and the club scene very well -- the brand successfully marries couture sensibilities with elements that appeal to a youthful subculture.
