The Mislad Office Reflects Home-Style Comfort in Kyiv, Ukraine

— December 4, 2025 — Art & Design
Mislad is an office in Kyiv designed by studio Between the Walls to bring the comforts of home into a professional workspace. The space features an open-plan area at the entrance plus a hexagonal meeting room with glass doors, curtains, and plush carpeting for acoustic softness. Materials such as preserved brick, wood, metal, marble, and glass combine with a colour palette of pistachio green, eucalyptus, blues, burgundy and black to balance warmth and structure. The kitchen includes a large papier-mâché bas-relief by artist Anastasiia Leliuk depicting mythological creatures, rooting the design in historical context.

The office contains four work areas, each with its own atmosphere for varied tasks. A secluded director’s office contrasts a warm room near a synagogue façade by using minimalist design, Donald Judd–style shelves, and an upcycled leather armchair for a personal touch. Flooring, lighting, and reused materials help maintain continuity and comfort throughout the space.
