This year, well-known ad agency Publicis undertook to produce several emotionally gripping ads to promote the Mira Guide Dog Association. They used four international artists to create four stylistically different ads with a common theme.
Each illustration depicts a blind person with their guide dog. The pair is see-through with their hearts leaping off the page. These hearts are connected by the leash carried by the blind person, cleverly supporting the Mira Guide Dog Association's tagline, "Guide dogs are vital to the blind."
The four artists asked to create these captivating ads were James Jean, Tara McPherson, Davor Vrankic and Kazuki Takamatsu, each from a different part of the world. By asking separate artists to produce work for the same ad campaign Publicis was able to produce extremely different variations on the same theme, leading to a spread that is both emotionally and visually stunning.
