Couture Cartoon Heels

Robert Sanderson's Minion Shoes Mimic the Iconic Yellow Movie Villains

Since the release of the Despicable Me, people have been obsessed with Minions to the point of creating everything from fashion to food collections inspired by them, as well as Minion shoes.

Although there are dozens of hand-painted Minion shoes that fans have created, designer Robert Sanderson gave the cartoons a couture twist with his interpretation of the characters as heels. As well as being a fun way to celebrate the movie’s release, the shoes were developed as part of a capsule collection to raise money for the Art + Price organization.

After Sandra Bullock sported these fun Minion shoes at the movie’s premier in London, she matched the charitable donations raised for the organization, bringing the total amount raised to more than $84,000.
