Mineral Surfaces Brands

Cosentino Has Introduced a New Material Brand — ÉClos®

Cosentino — "a global leader company in the production and distribution of innovative surfaces for architecture and design" — has introduced a new mineral surfaces brand called Éclos®. Primarily, this new range of products serves the kitchen and bathroom countertop market.

A defining characteristic of the new mineral surfaces is that the product contains no crystalline silica and incorporates a significant percentage of recycled materials. The manufacturing process utilizes a proprietary technique, termed Inlayr® technology, to create a layered, three-dimensional visual effect with integrated edge detailing. The material is also promoted for its functional properties, including resistance to high temperatures and impact.

The development of the Éclos mineral surfaces involved a substantial investment in research and testing, and it is positioned as an innovative alternative within the global countertop market.
